OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Juan Soto, MD, CCFP
FAMILY PHYSICIAN
Dr. Soto is a family physician with clinical interest in the management and prevention of obesity and related medical conditions. He started his career in New Brunswick and Alberta before moving to Ontario. For the last sixteen years he has been involved in family practice, clinical research, university preceptorship and the development and implementation of obesity and chronic disease management programs in several clinics and organizations.

He holds a Certification in Family Medicine by the College of Family Physicians of Canada, SCOPE certification by The World Obesity Federation, Diploma in Travel Medicine by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and has completed an Advanced Curriculum Fellowship Program in Obesity Management with The Obesity Medical Association. Dr. Soto offers his patients prevention and management of chronic medical conditions using a multidisciplinary team and a person-centered approach, and by doing so, he hopes to contribute to the health of our community and future generations.

Dr. Ashfique Adlul, MD, CCFP
FAMILY PHYSICIAN
Dr. Adlul is a family physician providing comprehensive care for patients from all walks of life. His special interests includes management of diabetes, heart conditions, women’s health and mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety.

He was fortunate to receive his medical training from United States, West Indies and Canada. As a result, he has learned to care for patients from various backgrounds, ethnicities and views in a compassionate, non-judgmental way. He completed his residency training in the prestigious McMaster Family Medicine program. Dr. Adlul holds certification in Family Medicine by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

His philosophy of medicine is to provide a patient centered medical care. Dr. Adlul is there for his patients ready to guide and provide information, so that they can feel in charge of their health and make an informed decision about their own healthcare.

Dr. Oluwajuwon Okuneye MD, RCGP, CCFP
FAMILY PHYSICIAN
Dr Oluwajuwon Okuneye is a UK trained family physician who has extensive experience in all aspects of Family Medicine with a special interest in Women’s health and Chronic disease management.

After completing her medical training, she studied for an MSc in International Health and Management from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland as well as a Certificate in Surgical Sciences from the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom. She went on to complete a 4 year residency in Family Medicine and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioner, United Kingdom with the MRCGP certification.

She is registered with the College of Family Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario as well as the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
​
Her ethos of practice is to care for all her patients with consideration for psychosocial factors that may affect their health. She also encourages collaborative care with a patient centered approach.

Dr. Sinthija Rajenthiran , BM, DRCOG, MRCGP, PGDIPDERM
FAMILY PHYSICIAN
Dr. Raj is a UK trained family physician with a special interest in dermatology and
women’s health. She completed her undergraduate medical degree from The University of Southampton, UK, and her postgraduate training in the East of England deanery. Prior to starting her family medicine training, she worked as a junior pediatric doctor for 1 year.
She has had the opportunity to work in multiple specialties during her foundation and family medicine training. Dr Rajenthiran holds a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (UK) , a Diploma of Dermatology with distinction from The University of Queen Mary’s (UK) and MRCGP certification from The Royal College of General Practitioner (UK).
She is registered with the College of Family Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario as well as the College of
Family Physicians of Canada. Dr Rajenthiran believes in continuity of care and treating every patient holistically.

Dr. Tanya Sagherian, MD, CCFP, DABFM
FAMILY PHYSICIAN
Dr. Sagherian is a US trained family physician with experience in all aspects of Family Medicine and Hospital/Critical Care Medicine. She has a special interest in chronic disease management and preventative medicine.
She completed her undergraduate medical degree at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine and her postgraduate training at Indiana University School of Medicine- Jasper, where she was Chief Resident.
She is registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the College of Family Physicians of Canada. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. Her background in rural and global medicine has been an asset to her holistic approach to treating patients. At this time, Dr. Sagherian welcomes seniors, adults and patients over the age of 5 years old to her practice.

Dr. Lida Alibalazadeh, MD
FAMILY PHYSICIAN
Dr. Alibalazadeh is a family physician with 16 years of expansive experience in all aspects of family medicine with a special interest in preventative medicine. She started her career in Iran and Saskatchewan before moving to Ontario.
Dr. Alibalazadeh is registered with the College of Family Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario as well as the College of Family Physicians of Canada. She believes in a patient–centered approach and her philosophy in practice is to arm patients with sufficient information to become involved in their own health care and make informed decisions.

Dr Tooba Zahid, MD
FAMILY PHYSICIAN
Hello! My name is Dr Tooba Zahid. I am very excited to announce that I will be joining Summerview Medical on October 1st, 2024.
I trained as a resident at McMaster University and have been in practice as a Family Physician since 2019. I provide care to all demographics and look forward to opening the practice to new patients. Apart from my family practice I also offer PRP services for skin and hair rejuvenation.
I look forward to being part of such a fabulous team of physicians and healthcare providers
at Summerview.
